BARSKA’s new 3rd generation of Swat scopes are designed for high-resolution aiming of distant targets where precision is an absolute necessity. Windage / elevation adjustments are performed by moving external target style dials that adjust the sniper scope in fine increments of 1/8” clicks. After the scope is adjusted to your specific shooting distance you can then re-zero the turret charts, a small screw at the top of the turret can be loosened and the chart can be reset to zero. Turret adjustments can be locked into place by tightening the locking ring at the base of the turret. Clarity of vision through the scope is maintained because the interior has been purged with nitrogen creating a humidity and fog-proof environment between the lenses.

The fully multi-coated lenses are flawless with perfect clarity for distant viewing and sighting of still and moving objects and also protect against the sun's UV rays, and enhance light transmission. All swat scopes come with a 5 inch removable sun shade to cast a shadow and reduce glare for use in bright sun. With a wide 30 mm main tube the swat scope is able to gather light in low-light situations where locating a distant target might be difficult with a short scope. The mil-dot reticle can be changed from black, which is used during the daytime, to a bright red illuminated reticle for ease of sighting in low light situations.

When mounted on a weapon, the scope is secured with 30mm mounting rings.
Impact- resistant construction ensures that the lenses will not be jarred loose within the housing when the scope is bumped during use, this shockproof design insures that the scope will hold-up zero shot after shot on the large caliber rifles. Swat scopes are used in military, hunting, and varmint hunting situations where targets must be sighted at a distant great enough to prevent danger to the hunter.

In each of these settings the scopes have proven to be accurate and rugged in the harshest conditions. Extreme cold or heat does not affect the alignment of the lenses or the accuracy of the scope, and the interior of the scope does not cloud. Tested on everything from .223 AR rifles too long-range .308 hunting rifles the Barska swat scope has performed flawlessly.
